The Chinese believe in six possible realms to be rebirth into based upon karma. 5th and 6th realms are for deities. 4th realm is the human realm. The Chinese consider this the best realm to rebirth to. 3rd realm is for animals. Even pets gain karma. 2nd realm is for spirits who have neither food nor drink. 1rst realm is Hell.
